St Finbar is the place to be!

Serving the Community

Saint Finbar, a WCEA / WASC accredited school, has been serving the Catholic Community of the Burbank and Glendale area since 1945. The school is located on the picturesque corner of Olive Ave and Keystone Street in Burbank . Our grades include Early Fives, Kindergarten, and Grades One through Eight. In addition to the challenging academic standards of the Catholic curriculum, the school offers music, French, Spanish, physical education, computers, science lab, art and an elective period for the junior high. Our extracurricular activities include a full athletic program, student council, youth ministry, liturgical choir, newspaper, and yearbook. We offer morning care from 6:45 am to 7:30 am and after school care from 2:50 pm to 6:00 pm. Most of our graduates go on to private Catholic High Schools. Our friendly office staff will assist you with any questions and the application process. We look forward to hearing from you!

Student Learning Expectations

  • November's focus: Think Creatively and Independently
Students will think creatively and independently to complete projects, do classroom assignments, be active participants in discussions and to solve problems. Again, this creative and independent thinking extends beyond the classroom and out into the everyday situations a student may face.
